Aunt Marie,

I am Cathy, Alice's oldest daughter. I have so enjoyed studying your quilts. I started to list my favorites but the list got way too long. I became the Home Ec teacher last year and showed your quilts to some of my students. They were quite impressed even though they can not yet appreciate how much time and work it takes to create your quilts. I met a lady in St George, UT a few months ago. She said that every year she goes to Bear Lake and always has to go by your house and admire the yard and the thousands of flowers. I was happy to claim my relationship to you and hoped she never drove by my house. Thank you for sharing your time and talent.

I recently started making quilts myself but they are very plain - mostly squares or rail fence - but I can't even imagine hand quilting them. Your quilts are museum quality and absolutely gorgeous! You certainly have made some wonderful ones and I loved seeing them all. I also loved the picture of your house and all those beautiful flowers. You are one talented lady!!!

Your quilts are beautiful!! I looked through all of them to see which one is my favorite but I don't think that I would be able to pick only one. They are all amazing!!
